The Regreening by Charmed-Ravenclaw The Regreening by Charmed-Ravenclaw
This is my entry for the Modernity and Nature Contest: [link]

My personal view is that humans can't co-exist with nature. In the end, we're gonna seriously fuck up the world one way or another, be it global warming or a nuclear war. Hence why most of the world look post-apocalyptic.

However, I do believe, that once we're gone, the earth will recover. Life can't be killed that easily. This is the Regreening, healing the world once we're gone. Concept slightly stolen from Remnants by K.A. Applegate.

:iconcritique-it:Critique: If anyone could give me tips on how to improve this that would be great. How does the background look? Too empty for space or not wide enough? I could really use some tips on how to make the "greening" part more obvious? Is the hell aspect obvious enough?

This is a great photomanipulation, for a constructive comment do you think it's possible to lower the brightness of the sun (or is it a lens flare?)? It seems to overpower the rest, but overall I do love this. Keep up the good work! :D

Did you see that documentary about if humans disappeared? It would only take 10,000 years for the world to recover.

for the stars i mentioned, u could consider using the "sparkly" ones from here:[link] maybe try dropping the opacity on them and removing the corners with a soft round brush, choosing the eraser option of course, maybe also add a little outer glow effect to really stand out!
